Freelance Virtual Events Administrator (Remote)

We support some of the most exciting companies and education providers in the World. These include Airbus, NHS, Jaguar Land Rover, Cancer Research UK, Vodafone, BT, Fujitsu, Pret a Manger and many more. 

We are scaling up our virtual event delivery team to enable us to help more students connect with employers, universities and colleges. This means we have a fantastic opportunity for talented, tech-savvy, driven Virtual Events Administrators to join our team on a freelance/part-time basis. We run lots of virtual events for our clients, from Online Open Days for universities, colleges and schools, to student engagement events for employers. We have helped over 100,000 students access over 1,000 live events since March!

The smooth-running of these events relies on our excellent Virtual Events Administrators, who manage and oversee the live webinar sessions. This is a freelance role where you will be called upon to manage one or more webinar sessions on a particular day and be paid per session you run. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the speakers and walking them through how the session will run
  • Managing presentations, videos and other materials in the webinar room and cueing them at the right time during the broadcast
  • Managing questions asked by attendees and publishing relevant ones
  • Escalating any technical issues to our Customer Success Team


You'll be driven, team-orientated, eager to learn and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be as motivated by our mission to empower all young people as we are. Successful candidates will:

  • Be calm under pressure
  • Be extremely professional
  • Have experience in a customer facing role
  • Have strong technical ability
  • Possess excellent communication skills

You will be expected to frequently manage sessions during evenings and weekends and you will also need a strong internet connection and modern computer to handle the virtual events tool.


We offer an attractive package including:

  • Flexible working - book onto sessions that fit around your schedule
  • £20 per session for the first 10 you manage, rising to £30 per session after that. Most sessions last approximately 1 hour
